Sounds like a great running combo. Is it a solid roller camshaft? What size header? Post some pics if you can.....love those old race trucks!

Cool i have a 1971 swb with a 502 crate motor and nos it has run 11.75@114mph on the motor and on the juice it has gone 10.30's@130 with 250 shot. i drive it almost everyday if it's nice enough, i also took it to springfield last year and it made 672HP and 721 lbs of torque at the rear wheels

it has square port heads on it,they have been angle milled 125 thousenths(hope i spelled that right) with big valves(get back to you on the size) and the cam is close to a .700 lift with jesel 1.8 shaft mounted rocker arms, and right now it has a 325 shot on it,but i'm fixing to 2 stage it to see if i can get a 9.99 out of the heavy pig

I put 350 shot to it and it blew the tires off, i went a 1.64 60ft leaving in 2nd gear, i went a 10.26@130 spinning real hard when i left and my tranny took a dump on that pass so i'm getting a new tranny next week and i'm finally going to get my cage then i will 2 stage it and see what happens Laughing
