| Any tips/tricks?? Leaf spring rear with 275-60/15 MT et street radials, bolt in subframe connectors.... tryin to make my 1979 camaro hook, need some advice on which direction to go with it, want to keep the leaf springs and tire size. Thanks |

| Moroso trick springs, front needs to sit pretty low so there is lots of stored energy. Slapper bars are fine. Some CE shocks. Pinion angle about 5.5 down. |

| troy is right. but weight the front end and call them. the moroso springs they sent me were to stiff. I never found out if the sent the wrong springs or they had the wrong part #, but thy were definatly wrong. sat to high and had not enough travel. try to get 5-6 inches of travel. you can limit it later if needed. |

The only thing you need to do is get a set of CalTracs (calvertracing.com)instead of any so-called traction bars. For about $300 you'll totally eliminate tire spin on a launch. Believe me, they work. when you finally get them in your hands you'll wonder why someone didn't think of this a long time ago. I've got them on a 3750# Camaro (vintage 1975) with 450 hp BBC, 4.56 gear and 29x9.0 slicks and they ALWAYS hook. (11.10 @ 121 mph)
