My Cars

Check out an article detailing my car in the January 2006 issue of Car Craft magazine!

Where to start? Well, most importantly, I am a family man. I have an awesome wife Tonya and precious twin girls, Macalyn and Macenzie. Career wise I am a Operations Manager for a large auto parts manufacturing company that produces parts for the OEM's. Prior to this latest promotion, I was a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Of course, I'm also a car nut and have been since I was a little kid. I've owned a variety of hot rods. My 1st car was a 1969 Z-28 (clone) Camaro. My dad and I started wrenching on it when I was just 14 years old. I street raced my 1963 Chevy II and 1972 Camaro all through high school. Never had the money to go fast, but low 14's sure was fun at the time and that's fast as long as everyone else runs 15's!

My favorite car of all of them has to be my 1971 Camaro. I built almost all of this car from scratch with the help a some great friends. It ran the best of a 9.19 @ 147 mph in street trim. The best 60' time was an amazing 1.208 seconds on a 10" tire foot braking a 3400 street car. That was a blast. My current cars are a stout 1993 Mustang GT - it's a near mint daily driver car with air that runs bottom 11's / high 10's. I also have a 1988 Coupe that picks up where the GT leaves off.

I am not an expert engine builder or mechanic. I know a little and there's a good chance you do too. By sharing facts and success stories we end up better and more knowledgeable for it. That's what enginecombination.com is all about!

Thank You!
